Krishna Thapa

It is his leadership beyond the battlefield that truly defines him.
Krishna was the first active-duty soldier to summit both Mount Everest and K2, and he holds the Guinness World Record for leading the largest group to ever reach Everest’s summit. As a world-class expedition leader, he has guided teams through death zones above 8,000 meters, stared down mortality countless times, and brought others safely — and spiritually — to the top.
Known globally as “The Warrior Monk,” Krish combines the clarity of Buddhist philosophy with the courage of a soldier. He now devotes his life to empowering others, leading transformative expeditions for amputees, the blind and deaf, veterans with PTSD, and individuals living with Parkinson’s — across the Himalayas, Europe, and Africa.
Whether standing on a summit or walking beside someone rebuilding their life, Krishna Thapa inspires all who cross his path to find strength, stillness, and purpose in every step.
