Young Violette, who races for team Ridley, is a certified UCI cycling coach and has founded an all-girls team – Komera Women’s Cycling. She is breaking barriers in Rwanda, bringing sport to a growing group of girls between the ages of 12-18z “Komera” means “Be Courageous” in Kinyarwanda. Violette shows great courage to be where she is and is a clear leading light for many around her.
