In a recent article by Khaleej Times, the “Ride for Unity: 7 Days/7 Emirates” cycling event is highlighted as a beacon of hope for the Middle East. The event, held from January 6-12, 2024, involves over 20 business leaders, athletes, and Paralympians who will cycle across the UAE to promote unity, tolerance, diversity, and sustainability.
Sareh Ameri, managing director of Ride For Unity, shares, “The UAE is a living, breathing role model of our values of unity, diversity, tolerance and sustainability.” This tour starts in Dubai and concludes in Abu Dhabi, featuring cultural, educational, and environmental activities throughout the journey.
One significant aspect of the ride is the engagement with various communities, including stops at the Dibba Coral Life Conservation site, American University RAK, and the Mangrove Plantations in Umm Al Quwain. The riders will also visit the Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs and cycle with children along Kite Beach.
Ziad Boghdady from AGMC, one of the sponsors, states, “Sustainability is one of AGMC BMW’s core pillars, making it a natural fit for us to support a unique event like Ride For Unity.” This sponsorship aligns with their commitment to fostering community and sustainability.
